For those who want a short channel crossing there is of course Eurotunnel
and the ferry services to Calais and Boulogne. From the Calais/Boulogne
ferry terminals there are two suggested routes to Le Bouchet both
taking about six hours - one route for the brave hearted (and admirers
of traffic jams) via Paris and the A10 - and the other route via
Rouen and Le Mans using the new A28 link joining the A10 just after
it has passed over the River Loire at Tours.
